The AEON Design Process
A free call or Google Meet/Zoom conversation, no cost, no obligation, where we learn your vision, goals, budget, and project requirements.
Once you're ready, we send the design agreement. After it's signed and the deposit is received, we schedule your in-person site visit (SoCal) or coordinate a property survey (everywhere else), and begin your design.
Our designers create a full photoreal 3D model of your property and design your new outdoor space down to the last material, light, and water feature, with revisions until you're happy.
We prepare the complete master blueprint plans, master landscaping plan, rendering video, and full material specifications, everything you need to move forward with construction.
We work remotely with clients across the US and Canada. For precise measurements, we coordinate with local lot surveyors to get exact property dimensions, then use that precise scale to draft your design in professional design software. For Southern California clients, we can also arrange a direct site visit.
Every AEON project is handled by one dedicated designer, your single point of contact from brief to final deliverable. Our designers are specialists in outdoor space design, with deep expertise in landscape lighting layout and everything it takes to produce a complete, construction-ready design package.
Our designers have deep knowledge of real-world construction costs. That means during the design stage we actively design to your budget, specifying materials, layouts, and scopes that hit your number before a single bid goes out. Your construction package is also written to be bid by multiple contractors, and we can help you read and compare bids so you can make a fully informed decision.

Our design clients typically have construction budgets well into six and seven figures. The design fee is a small fraction of construction cost, and the plans we deliver reliably reduce change orders and overruns. Clients consistently spend less on construction when they design first.
